Rural Bridge Project

Each phase of the project was given an additional extension of contract due to the successful completion done in a timely manner. The main objective of the project was to ensure communities are connected to the main cities with adequate infrastructure, especially over water bodies. Over 1,000 bridges were constructed in urban and rural areas of Sri Lanka by Foresight Engineering as part of the Rural Bridge Project. The construction of these bridges will facilitate in creating plenty of opportunities for rural and estate communities, while reducing travelling time and distance, bridging the gap between remote areas and cities.
