Four existing hospitals located in the northern province of Sri Lanka were selected for facility and infrastructural upgrade and enhancement. This project, powered by Foresight Engineering will improve the standard of care provided to the locals in the north of the country, providing them with adequate care following the end of the 30-year civil war. With the improvement of healthcare infrastructure, communities will be able to thrive and grow.
This project is currently under implementation.
Enhancement of the Provincial Rehabilitation Center & Provincial Psycho Trauma Center in Mankulam Base Hospital, Cardiology & Nephrology Center in Vavuniya District General Hospital, Fully Equipped Modern Accident & Emergency Center in Point Pedro Base Hospital and Provincial Women Healthcare Center at Kilinochchi District General Hospital.
The project was backed by VAMED Netherlands B.V
Hospital infrastructure at Mankulam Base Hospital, Point Pedro Base Hospital, Kilinochchi District General Hospital and the Vavuniya District General Hospital were enhanced and developed.
The project commenced in July 2019 and is expected to be completed within 3 years.
