From establishing a proper agricultural water supply management, especially during the drought season to equipping dairy farmers with newly renovated and state-of-the-art facilities to hold 2000 imported dairy cows, the agriculture and dairy industry were given prominence for development.
As part of our agriculture project, 10,000 SAWMP kits were installed across 18 districts to facilitate farmers during the long drought season. The solar powered drip irrigation system will aid an increase in crop production and agricultural productivity in areas where water is scarce. Additionally, the dairy sector in the rural areas, was fitted with six mini dairies, milking parlours, farm machinery, ample water & electricity, proper waste disposal and upgraded roadways to accommodate the importation of 9500 dairy cows from New Zealand and Australia
